Enable PlantPAx settings

Enable settings such as tasking model and instruction usage on PlantPAx controller projects to:
  • Use a predefined set of tasks with simplified configuration. Enabling tasking model creates projects that conform to
    Rockwell Automation®
    recommendations for the PlantPAx controller.
  • View which PlantPAx and process instructions are used in which tasks. This view provides a way to see the overall process execution load on a project for each task.
    TIP:
    The tasking model option is enabled by default unless the existing project was converted to a PlantPAx controller from another controller type.
To enable PlantPAx settings
  1. Create a project with a PlantPAx controller.
    TIP:
    When working with existing projects, the project must use a process controller to access PlantPAx
    controller options.
  2. Open the
    Controller Properties
    dialog box and select the
    PlantPAx
    tab.
  3. Select
    Use PlantPAx Tasking Model
    to use a predefined set of tasks with default configuration and editing restrictions.
  4. Select
    Instruction Usage
     to view which PlantPAx and process instructions are used in which task.
