Import Dialog Box Overview
Use this dialog box to select the file containing the component you wish to import.
Parameters
Look in:
Select the directory in which the component you wish to import resides. (Note that the last location that you opened from is remembered upon subsequent returns.)
Go to Last Folder Visited
Click this button to go back to the previous folder.
This button is active when you are logged in to a server or database and if you are not already at the top level.
Up One Level
Click this button to go up one level in the directory.
This button is active when you are logged in to a server or database and if you are not already at the top level.
Create New Folder
Click this button to create a new folder in the directory.
View Menu
Click this button to select the view type (that is, select between viewing only a list of file names or a list of file names along with the user name).
This button is active when you are logged in to a server or database.
File Name
Displays the currently selected file. You can type in a different file name or select a file name from the list show. You can also select a recent file from the drop-down arrow.
Files of type:
Displays the type of file that will be imported. Control is defaulted to
Logix Designer
XML Files (*.L5X) and is read-only.Files containing:
Displays the type of component that will be imported (for example, Rungs).
Into
Displays into which routine, program, or task the component will be imported.
Overwrite Selected Rungs
Check to overwrite the selected rung upon import.
The field is checked by default when multiple rungs are selected.
Note that this field only displays for rung imports.
Import
Click this button to initiate the import of the selected component.
Cancel
Click this button to cancel the import and close the Import dialog box.
Help
Click this button for help on the Import dialog box.
