Edit SFC routine properties
Use the
Routine Properties
dialog box to edit the properties of a sequential function chart routine. To edit SFC routine properties
- In theController Organizer, right-click the routine and selectPropertiesto open theRoutine Propertiesdialog box.
- In theNamebox, type a name for the sequential function chart routine.
- In theDescriptionbox, enter a description of the routine.
- Select theAuto-Namingtab to configure auto-naming settings. Auto-naming generates names for language elements in the routine.
- Select theSheet Layouttab to configure the sheet size and orientation for the routine.
- To apply a set of permissions to the routine, select aPermission Set. The permission set controls access to the routine based on the permissions configured in FactoryTalk Administration Console. The default setting,<Controller Inherited>, applies the same security settings that have been applied to the controller or project.
- SelectOK.TIP:TheAuto-NamingandSheet Layouttabs only display on theRoutine Propertiesdialog box for unprotected sequence routines.
