Edit SFC routine properties

Use the
Routine Properties
 dialog box to edit the properties of a sequential function chart routine.
To edit SFC routine properties
  1. In the
    Controller Organizer
    , right-click the routine and select
    Properties
     to open the
    Routine Properties
     dialog box.
  2. In the
    Name
     box, type a name for the sequential function chart routine.
  3. In the
    Description
     box, enter a description of the routine.
  4. Select the
    Auto-Naming
     tab to configure auto-naming settings. Auto-naming generates names for language elements in the routine.
  5. Select the
    Sheet Layout
     tab to configure the sheet size and orientation for the routine.
  6. To apply a set of permissions to the routine, select a
    Permission Set
    . The permission set controls access to the routine based on the permissions configured in FactoryTalk Administration Console. The default setting,
    <Controller Inherited>
    , applies the same security settings that have been applied to the controller or project.
  7. Select
    OK
    .
    TIP:
    The
    Auto-Naming
     and
    Sheet Layout
     tabs only display on the
    Routine Properties
     dialog box for unprotected sequence routines.
