Configure PPERM instructions
Use the
Advanced
tab of the PPERM Properties
dialog box to configure the Process Permissives (PPERM) instruction. To configure the PPERM instruction
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select
.
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Open theAdvancedtab.
- Set the parameters:
- Permissive Name. Type the text description of each permissive used. Only permissives with text entered appear on theOperatortab of the faceplate.
- OK State. Select the state (OK to Run state) of the corresponding permissive.
- Can Bypass. Select to indicate that the corresponding permissive can be bypassed.
- Enable Bypass. Select to bypass the corresponding permissive.
- View the read-only parameters:
- Device state. When theLogix Designerapplication is online with the controller, the indicator displays the current device state, such as Off, Pulse on, or Out of service.
- Device issues. When theLogix Designerapplication is online with the controller, the indicator displays fault conditions, such as Feedback fault or I/O fault.
- SelectApply.
