Search using Find
Use
Find
to locate specific items in your project. Use the options on the Find
dialog box to limit and focus your search.To conduct a search using Find:
- ClickSearch > Find.
- In theFind Whatfield, enter a string to search for.When you first open theFinddialog box, if a language or tag editor window is active, this field contains either the selected text or the text on which the cursor is located. Otherwise, it contains the text from the last search. You can also choose to enter a new string or select a previously-searched string from the list. This list contains up to 10 items.
- (optional) To search for a specific item, such as a tag, click the button to access theSearch Item Browserdialog box, from which you can select the item.
- From theLimit Tomenu, select an option to provide more information on what the item in theFind Whatfield represents.
- Determine whether to search routines, tags, or programs by using theFind Wheremenu.
- (optional) To focus your search, use the additional search options.
- To conduct the search, clickFind NextorFind All.
