Add a text box to an SFC

Add a text box to a SFC to clarify a step or transition or to add notes, descriptions, or comments for use later. For example:

To add a text box to a SFC
  1. Select
    Edit > Add SFC Element
     or select the
    Text Box
     symbol text_icon .
    A text box appears.

  2. Drag the text box to a location near the step or transition to which it applies.
  3. Select the text box, then type the note.
  4. Deselect the text box by selecting a blank spot in the SFC window.
  5. (optional) To attach the text box to a step or transition, select the push-pin icon in the lower-left corner of the text box, then drag the text box over the green dot on the step or transition.
