Group graphic elements

Group graphic elements

Combine graphic elements and Add-On Graphics into a group to work with them as a single element. Work with the elements as a group or manipulate the individual elements within the group. Groups can contain groups.
To group graphic elements:
View Designer
 names each group. Rename groups using the
Name
box in the
Properties
tab. The
Properties
tab displays the properties to change for the group. View and work with the contents of a group in the
Graphic Explorer
.
  1. On the screen or in the
    Graphic Explorer
    , select the graphic elements and Add-On Graphics to include in the group.
  2. Right-click one of the selected elements and select
    Group
    .
TIP:
Alternate methods of grouping:
  • On the
    Drawing
    toolbar, select
    Group
    .
  • On the
    Standard
    menu, select
    Arrange > Group
    .
  • Press
    Ctrl+G
    .
