Select a graphic element on a screen

Select single or multiple graphic elements on a screen to perform actions or display properties.
To select a graphic element on a screen
  • Select individual or multiple graphic elements:
    • Single graphic element.
      Select the graphic element.
    • Multiple graphic elements.
      Select the screen canvas above the graphic elements and drag diagonally to create a selection border around the graphic elements. When all the graphic elements are inside the border, release the mouse button. Sizing handles on all of the selected graphic elements replace the border.
    • Additional graphic elements outside of selection.
      To select graphic elements that are outside of the border, press and hold
      Ctrl
      while selecting each additional graphic element, or hold
      Ctrl
      while dragging to select additional graphic elements.
    • All graphic elements on a screen.
      Press
      Ctrl+A

      TIP:
      Tips:
      • To deselect all selected graphic elements, select the screen.
      • If a screen contains a lot of content or overlapping graphic elements, use the
        Graphic Explorer
        to select a graphic element from a list of the graphic elements contained on the screen.
