Add a PDF document to an Add-On Graphic

Add a PDF document to an Add-On Graphic to have the Add-On Graphic display the PDF document on the HMI device.
Prerequisites
  • (optional) Create bookmarks for the PDF document prior to adding the document to the project.
To add a PDF document to an Add-On Graphic
  1. Open the definition of the Add-On Graphic.
  2. In the
    Project Explorer
    , expand the
    Assets > Documents
    folder.
  3. Drag the PDF document to the definition of the Add-On Graphic. A PDF graphic element appears in the definition of the Add-On Graphic and shows the PDF document.
    Tips:
    • The
      Select PDF Viewer
      dialog does not open when adding a PDF document to an Add-On Graphic.
      View Designer
      does not support adding a PDF Viewer Add-On Graphic to anther Add-On Graphic.
    • Dragging the PDF graphic element from the
      System
      category of the
      Toolbox
      opens the
      Select PDF Viewer
      dialog box.
