Events and Add-On Graphics

Add events to an instance of an Add-On Graphic on a screen or to a graphic element in the definition of an Add-On Graphic. As with groups, events for the content in the definition of an Add-On Graphic trigger in a specific order.

Adding events to an Add-On Graphic in the

Toolbox

is not allowed. Selecting an Add-On Graphic in the

Toolbox

does not show the the

Events

tab in the

Properties

window.

Events created for an instance of an Add-On Graphic take precedence over events created for a graphic element within the definition of the Add-On Graphic. For example, if the same event type exists in both the definition of an Add-On Graphic and an instance of that Add-On Graphic, the event for the instance of the Add-On Graphic is performed on the HMI device.
