Open an alarm screen

Open an alarm screen to view alarms and perform operations, such as acknowledging or shelving an alarm. Open the predefined
Alarm Summary
screen to view the Alarm Summary table. Open the predefined
Alarm Manager
 screen to view the Alarm Manager table. Depending on the configuration of the HMI device application, alarm tables may exist on screens other than predefined screens.
To open an alarm screen
  • Alarm Summary.
     In the
    System Banner
     at the top of the screen, select
    Alarm Status Indicator
     Icon: ViewRTAlarmSumInAlUnackIcon. The
    Alarm Summary
     screen opens. The
    Alarm Status Indicator
     button turns red and flashes if there are unacknowledged alarms. The button stops flashing when there are no unacknowledged alarms.
  • Alarm Manager.
    In the
    System Banner
     at the top of the screen, select
    Navigation
    Icon: NavigationMenuButton and in the
    Navigation menu
     at the bottom of the screen, select the
    Alarm Manager
     item. The
    Alarm Manager
     screen opens.
    TIP:
    Tips:
    • To open the
      Alarm Manager
       screen from the
      Alarm Summary
      , select
      Alarm Manager
       viewrtalarmoptsmgrbuttonV5 at the bottom of the Alarm Summary table.
    • Using an external keyboard, tab to highlight a button on an alarm table and press
      Enter
      .
