Error list
 appears for any graphic element or group of graphic elements in error. An
Error
icon Icon: Runtime Error button appears on the graphic element or group. This icon opens the
Error list
. The item in error can be a graphic element, popup, or an
Alarm Summary
 or
Alarm Manager
.

The number of graphic elements in error. An individual graphic element in error shows no number on the
Error
icon Icon: Runtime Error button. If the
Error
icon Icon: Runtime Error button displays a number, there are multiple graphic elements in error that are located close to each other. The
Error list
 contains a page of diagnostic messages for each graphic element in the group.

The name of the graphic element affected by the current page of errors. Scroll horizontally to view long names.

The diagnostic messages for the item in error.
  • Graphic element.
     If a graphic element is in error, the
    Error list
     displays the tag associated with the error, the property not applied to the graphic element due to the error, and a description of what caused the error.
  • Alarms.
     If an
    Alarm Summary
     or
    Alarm Manager
     is in error, the
    Error list
    displays the affected alarm property, and a description of the alarm error.

When selected, the graphic element in error appears filled with a color that contrasts the background color of the screen.

When there are multiple graphic elements in error, numbers indicate the graphic element. If there are three graphic elements in error while viewing diagnostic messages for the first graphic element, the
Error list
 displays 1/3. The
Next
and
Previous
buttons show the diagnostic messages for the next and previous graphic elements.
