Edit the MCC lineup in the Elevation view
In the
Elevation
view, move sections, units within the same section, swap units with doors and units from other section to match changes made to the physical MCC.Prerequisites
- Purchase and download the dataset folder.
- Unzip the dataset folder to your local drive.
- A FactoryTalk Design Studio project with lineups.
- In theElevationview, select the unit or section that you want to move.
- Move the unit by dragging it up or down within the same section, or across sections to a new section. Move sections forward or backward to a new section location.
Follow these guidelines when moving units and sections:
- When you drag a unit within a section, a green line shows at the bottom of the unit where the dragged unit will be placed.
- To swap units, you must swap units of the same size.
- You can move units into doors. If the unit is smaller than the door, theMove Unitdialog box opens for you to select to move the unit on the top or bottom of the door or to cancel the move. After the move, the door will reside below or above the unit based on your choice.
- If a move is permitted, the unit will be outlined in green when you drag it to the new location. If the move is not permitted, the unit will be outlined in red when you drag it to the new location.
- You cannot move wireways or units into wireways.
