Delete an Add-On Instruction from the Controller Organizer

Use the
Delete
 command to remove an Add-On Instruction from the
Controller Organizer
.
These restrictions apply when deleting an Add-On Instruction:
  • The Add-On Instruction must not be referenced.
  • You must be offline because you cannot delete an Add-On Instruction when online.
    If you select multiple Add-On Instructions to delete, and any selected Add-On Instruction violates any of the restrictions, none of the selected Add-On Instructions are deleted.
    TIP: If FactoryTalk Security is enabled, FactoryTalk Security permissions are required to create and delete items in the
    Controller Organizer
     and the
    Logical Organizer
    .
To delete an Add-On Instruction from the
Controller Organizer
:
  1. Right-click the Add-On Instruction, and then choose
    Delete
    .
  2. Choose
    Yes
    to confirm the deletion.
    TIP:
    You can also delete an Add-On Instruction by selecting it and then using one of these methods:
    • From the
      Menu
       bar, select
      Edit
       >
      Delete
      .
    • Press the
      Delete
       key.
