PLLS start stop delay intervals
Use the
Advanced
tab on the PLLS Properties
dialog box to configure start and stop delays and command source settings for Process Lead Lag Standby Motor Group (PLLS) instructions.To configure start and stop delay intervals and command source settings for PLLS instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Select theAdvancedtab.
- Configure these settings.
- Number of. Enter the number of motors in the group.motors (pumps) in this Lead/Lag/Standby group
- Time after last Start or Stop until next start is allowed. Enter the number of seconds that must elapse until the next start is allowed.
- Time after last Start or Stop until next stop is allowed. Enter the number of seconds that must elapse until the next stop is allowed.
- Operator command resets fault. Select to allow an Operator group command to reset a fault. Clear this check box if a reset is required to clear fault.
- External command resets fault. Select to allow an External group command to reset a fault. Clear this check box if a reset is required to clear fault.
- Operator Stop command available in any mode. Select if an operatorStopcommand has priority and is accepted at any time. If an operatorStopcommand stops the group in a mode other than Operator or Maintenance, a Reset is required to start the group. Clear this check box if an operatorStopcommand is only available in Operator/Maintenance mode.
- External Stop command available in any mode. Select if an externalStopcommand has priority and is accepted at any time. If an externalStopcommand stops the group in a mode other than External or Maintenance, a Reset is required to start the group. Clear this check box if an externalStopcommand is only available in External/Maintenance mode.
- . Select to allow theAllow Rotate (demote lead) commandRotatecommand to rotate motor assignments.
- Rotate assignments upon stopping all motors. Select to rotate the first motor in the list to the end of list when all motors stop.
- First started is first stopped. Select to designate the first motor that starts as the first one to stop. Clear this check box if the first motor started is the last to be stopped.
- In Override, bypass interlocks and permissives that can be bypassed. Select to designate that override ignores bypassable permissives and interlocks. Clear this check box if the permissives and interlocks are always used.
- Bumpless program/operator transition. Select to configure bumpless behavior for settings when switching command source from Program to Operator or from Operator to Program. These settings are enabled for bumpless transitions:
- In Program mode, the operator settings mirror the program settings.
- In Operator mode, the program settings mirror the operator settings.
- Bumpless transition from override/hand to program/operator. Select to configure bumpless behavior for setting parameters when switching the command source. For bumpless transitions, program/operator settings mirror the override/hand speed reference.
- When online with the controller, monitor theDevice stateandDevice issuesindicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
- Device state. Displays the current device state:
- None
- Stopped
- Running
- Stopping
- Decreasing
- Increasing
- Device issues. Displays fault conditions:
- None
- Configuration error
- Fail to start
- Fail to stop
- SelectApply.
