Add a step to an SFC

Add a step to a Sequential Function Chart to change its process logic.
To add a step to an SFC:
  1. Select
    Step + Transfer
     step_plus_transition_symbol.
  2. If the
    Logix Designer
     application is configured to prompt for the names of SFC tags, then type a name for the step.
  3. Choose the scope for the tag of the step.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
  5. Type a name for the associated transition.
  6. Choose the scope for the tag of the step.
  7. Select
    OK
    .
    A step and transition pair is created.
