Change the user authentication mode

Change the default user authentication mode to allow local
Windows®
users and Active Directory users to log into the
FactoryTalk Optix Application
.
  1. In the
    Project view
     pane, select
    ProjectName
    .
  2. In the
    Properties
     pane, set the
    Authentication mode
    .
    • Model only
      . Allows only the users created in
      FactoryTalk Optix Studio
       to log in.
    • Local only
      . Allows only local
      Windows
       users to log in.
    • Active Directory
      . Allows only Active Directory users to log in.
    • Domain Only
      . Allows only Active Directory users and local
      Windows
       users to log in.
    • Any
      . Allows users of any type to log in.
