Our 3 Areas of Concentration
We meet our customers where they are on their ESG journey. Whether they’re just starting or leading the way, we help them translate insights into impacts across energy, water, and waste. Our technologies provide data transparency across value chains and enable our partners to scale innovative and often industry-first sustainable solutions.
Enable our customers to achieve their own sustainability goals, making a positive impact on the world. Everything we do for our customers is about increasing efficiency, reducing energy usage, improving worker safety, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
EXPANDING INSIGHTS FOR EXISTING OPERATIONS
Converting data into actionable insights for sustainability and productivity around emissions, energy, water, and waste
EXPANDING IMPACT ACROSS VALUE CHAINS
Scaling impact and visibility across your value chain, product lifecycle, and ecosystems
EXPANDING INNOVATIONS FOR DECARBONIZATION AND CIRCULARITY
Innovating with our partners and scaling new climate tech production to enable a low carbon, circular future
Worker Safety
Clearpath and OTTO Motors acquisition: providing safer, more efficient manufacturing environments
Our October 2023 acquisition of Clearpath Robotics Inc., including OTTO Motors, addresses the challenge of safely and efficiently moving materials in production facilities. With Clearpath's expertise in autonomous robotics, particularly Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), we offer an end-to-end autonomous production logistics solution, simplifying labor-intensive tasks and optimizing manufacturing operations.
Cybersecurity
Verve acquisition: expands cybersecurity offerings
Our November 2023 acquisition of Verve Industrial Protection enhances our cybersecurity offerings with an industry-leading asset inventory system, vulnerability management, and risk remediation solution. This allows our customers to efficiently assess assets, prioritize risk, and apply countermeasures to mitigate vulnerabilities – all within a single platform.
Clearpath and OTTO Motors are a great complement to everything we do at Rockwell. It’s about creating a safer and more productive environment, with a material flow as efficient as possible.”

Enabling the Circular Economy
We help customers reduce electronic waste (e-waste), support their sustainability initiatives, and improve productivity by supporting their participation in the circular economy.
In manufacturing, the circular economy aims for zero waste and net zero carbon emissions across the product lifecycle, including material extraction, manufacturing, and consumer use. Unlike the linear model where products are discarded after use, the circular economy returns products to an industrial process for reuse or environmentally-friendly disposal, extending the life of assets in a continuous-use loop.
Rockwell supports customers across industries participating in the circular economy on several fronts. For more than 30 years, we have provided a sustainable alternative to purchasing new manufacturing equipment with our Industrial Automation Repair Services.
