Configure a recipe schema
Configure a recipe schema with a wizard.
- From the toolbar, selectOpen dashboard page
- In the editor, selectConfigure a recipe.
- Select an existing recipe or create a new recipe:
- To create a recipe:
- SelectNew recipe.
- EditName.
- CompleteTarget node.The target node defines the recipe schema ingredients. The target node can be any project node that contains the desired variables.For example, the target node can be:
- TheModelfolder
- An object inside theModelfolder
- A node that contains variables from one or more controllers
TIP: In a complex project, to define variables contained in several nodes as ingredients of a recipe schema, create a dedicated object in theModelfolder and add variables inside it. Then, create a dynamic link between the variables and the ingredients. If the object is selected as the target node, the selection of the recipe schema ingredients is intuitive because only the variables referenced in the object are displayed. - SelectNext.
- To edit an existing recipe:
- Select an existing recipe.
- Edit the recipe properties.
- To duplicate an existing recipe:TIP: Duplicating an existing recipe enables you to create a new recipe based on the existing recipe quickly.
- Right-click an available recipe and selectDuplicate.
- If needed, edit the recipe properties.
- SelectNext.
- Select an existing database or configure a new database:
- To use an existing database:
- Select an existing database.
- If necessary, edit the database properties.
- SelectNext.
- To create a database:
- SelectNew database.
- If needed, edit theNameandTypefields.
- SelectNext.
- If necessary, edit the database properties.
- SelectNext.
- To duplicate an available database:TIP: Duplicating an existing database allows you to create a database base on the existing database quickly.
- Right-click an available database and selectDuplicate.
- If necessary, edit the database properties.
- SelectNext.
- Select the recipe parameters to use.TIP: You can show or hide variables (parameters) nested in other variables by using theNested variablestoggle. You can quickly find the parameters that you want to select by using theSearchfield.
- SelectNext.
- Review the settings.
- SelectExit.
