Launch a service

You can launch a sub-device service through a specific
Services
 section in the
FactoryTalk Remote Access Manager
.
  1. In
    Explorer
    Domain view
    , select the sub-device.
  2. On the right pane, expand the the
    Services
     section to view all of the sub-device services.
  3. Select the service that you want to initiate and click
    Launch
    .
    The
    Interactive Access
     Tool automatically establishes a VPN connection with the device to which the sub-device is connected. In this way, you are granted access to the device subnet, so you can reach the sub-device and make its service run.
