Associate an axis to a drive

Associate the drive is the first step in configuring the axis. The drive determines what optional attributes are supported.
To associate an axis to a drive:
  1. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , click
    General
    .
  2. In the
    Associated Module
     area, from the
    Module
     list, select the drive module you want to associate with the axis.
  3. From the
    Axis Number
     list, select the axis number.
  4. Click
    Apply
    .
