Plot Tool Bar

The Plots UI has a tool bar that contains the following icons:
Icon
Description
Click the icon to zoom in and enlarge the data displayed. This can also be done graphically by dragging across a visualized screen segment.
Click the
Zoom Out
icon to zoom out and shrink the data displayed.
Click the
Zoom Out Fully
icon to zoom out back to the default display.
Click the
Show Plot Lines
icon to display the data points as a plotted line. This option is selected by default and toggles on and off.
Click the
Show Errors
icon plots the underlying value of a point with Error status (see “Status” on page 17). This toggles on and off.
Click the
Show Cuts
icon to display any sections of data that have been cut. This toggles on and off.
Click the
Insert
Row
icon to add a new plot at the top display.
Click the
Find
icon to locate a specific row of data (if By Row is
selected) or data by a specific time (if By Time is selected).
Define the maximum number of axis pairs displayed before the page displays a vertical scrollbar. If there are more plots in the chart, use the scrollbar to navigate through them. The default is 4.

Click the
By Row/By Time
icon to toggle between displaying the data by row or by time.
By Row
is the default. This controls how
trends within one plot or across several plots are aligned with each
other. That is, the plotted points are aligned vertically based on a
common row or a common timestamp.
