Plotting Data
To plot the data in a chart, do one of the following:
- From the Plot icon's drop-down menu [ ], select one of the following plot types. You will be asked to select your variables.
- In any data tab (for example, the Value Statistics or any other plotting or statistics tab), select the data (variables) you want plotted, right-click within the selection, and go to Plot > one of the following plot types.
If you want to plot all the data, either do a Ctrl+a or click the Select All icon.
NOTE:
A plot page can have either XY plots or any/all other plot types. When you make a new plot and select a non-XY plot type, that initial selection is not actually permanent. You can use the context menu to change back and forth among all the non-XY types. XY has its own context items, and there are some that are common to XY and non-XY.
