Module Properties - Power for 1394 SERCOS Interface, Kinetix drives
Use this tab to select a bus regulator for your 1394 SERCOS interface,
Kinetix
6000 drive, Kinetix
6200 drive, and Kinetix
620M (Integrated Drive Motor (IDM)) drive modules.
TIP:
This tab does not apply to the 8720MC, Ultra3000 SERCOS drive,
Kinetix
6200 drive, or the Kinetix
620M (Integrated Drive Motor (IDM)) drive. The only available selection in the Bus Regulator ID pull-down menu for these drives is <none>.Parameters
Bus Regulator ID
Select the catalog number that describes bus regulator device used by the drive module. Depending upon the drive you have selected, one or more of the bus regulator IDs may be available.
TIP:
This tab does not apply to the 8720MC drive, the Ultra3000 SERCOS drive, or the
Kinetix
620M (Integrated Drive Motor (IDM)) drive. The only available selection in the Bus Regulator ID pull-down menu for these drives is <none>.Input Power
Permits selection of either Single-phase or Three-phase as Drive input power. This is selectable only for the
Kinetix
2000 230volt drive family.Additional Bus Capacitance
The Additional Bus Capacitance field lets you define the additional bus capacitance that is required by the IDM Power Interface Module (IPIM) and IDM modules.
This control is only valid when an axis is associated with the
Kinetix
6000 and Kinetix
6200 IAM module. When an axis is initially associated to the IAM, this control displays the default value and is enabled. If a valid value is set in the associated axis, and the axis is not associated to the IAM, this control is reset to the default value and cannot be changed until an axis is associated to the IAM.Status
Displays the status the controller has about the module:
Status Name | Description |
Standby | a transient state that occurs when shutting down |
Faulted | unable to communicate with the module. When the status is Faulted, the Connection tab displays the fault. |
Validating | a transient state that occurs before connecting to the module |
Connecting | a state that occurs while the connection(s) are being established to the module |
Running | the module is communicating and everything is working as expected |
Shutting Down | the connections are closing |
Inhibited | the connection to the module is inhibited |
Waiting | a connection to this module has not yet been made due to one of the following:
