The Call for Speakers is now open for the 2025 Automation Fair® event, being held November 17-20 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. We’re accepting submissions for case studies, partner solutions, industry insights, and technical training.

This is your chance to share your story, gain recognition, and inspire collaboration. Accepted speakers receive a free General Access pass to the event and a list of those who attended your session post-event.

Submit by April 30, 2025, for a chance to be part of the exclusive catalog of programming at this year's premier industrial operations event.

What We’re Looking For

We look forward to welcoming back past speakers, inviting new perspectives, and exceeding attendee expectations with more success stories, unique insights and in-depth training. We’re accepting abstract submissions around select themes and industries. High-value submissions outside of these categories will also be considered.

Submissions Process

Submit your abstract

by April 30, 2025. Submissions must include all required information and speaker names to be considered.

To ensure a smooth process, have the following ready before completing the form:

Session Title (100 characters max, including spaces)
Session Abstract (500 characters max, including spaces)
Speaker Name, Title, Company, and Email Address

The Content Committee will review submissions based on educational and training value, unique insights, relevancy of subject matter and interest to industrial automation and digital transformation-seeking attendees.

Speakers will be notified in early June with an opportunity for a final review of information (title, abstract, speaker details, etc.) before sessions are finalized.

Key Dates:

March 17 – Call for Speakers opens
April 30 – Call for Speakers closes
Early June – Selected speakers notified; Final chance to review/edit submission
June 17 – PartnerNetwork only: If selected, your company must also be signed up as an exhibitor or sponsor by this date to maintain your status as a speaker
August – Session catalog opens in conjunction with event registration
September – Presentations submitted to Rockwell Automation for content review

Additional Information for Submitters

General Information

Speakers from previous Automation Fair events are encouraged and will be considered.
Additional consideration given to sessions that incorporate interactive elements, audience participation and engagement.
Presentations are due in September for content review and revisions may be required.
Presentations should not include any competitive technology or solutions to Rockwell Automation. We reserve the right to remove the references or disqualify the session if present.
Sessions are open to all event attendees, including media and industry analysts.
Sessions will be included in event promotion and commercial materials. Attendees will have access to presentations post-event.

Customer/peer stories are among the most requested by attendees each year. We are delighted to invite you to show off your great work and share your latest applications, best practices, and Rockwell solution success stories.

Customer Voices sessions run 50 minutes, including time for Q&A. They are generally scheduled to run once during the 4-day event. Please share a brief overview of your challenges, the decision to work with Rockwell Automation, solutions implemented, and results achieved in the abstract.
You may exceed the 500-character limit to relay this information effectively.

You must be able to gain approval from your organization to present and will be required to sign a Speaker Authorization form if accepted. Submit your abstract

by April 30, 2025, to be considered.

Partners who intend to participate as Exhibitors or Sponsors at Automation Fair 2025 will be considered to showcase their innovations and customer successes as part of our 4-day session catalog.

Partner Solution Sessions are 50 minutes, including time for Q&A, and generally run twice during the 4-day event.
The content must be solution-oriented and not promotional. Deep dives into technical topics or major trends are also encouraged.
Do you intend to co-present with a customer? If so, please be sure to list your customer as an additional speaker at the end of this submission. Note: The same exhibitor/sponsor requirement applies to co-presented sessions.
Space is limited and not all submissions will be accepted. Submit your strongest abstract and consider opportunities to co-present with Rockwell or other Rockwell partners and submit a joint abstract, listing both companies as speakers.

Only exhibiting or sponsoring partners will be considered.

We understand that you may need more time to finalize your exhibitor or sponsorship plans before the speaker submission deadline of April 30, 2025. If you are unsure if your organization will participate as an exhibitor or sponsor, please submit your abstract

now. Selected session notifications will go out in early June, and you will have until June 17 to complete your exhibit or sponsorship contract to retain your session at Automation Fair 2025.

Distributors are invited to submit abstracts for consideration. You may participate in two ways:

Reach out to your customers with the most unique, inspiring, results achieved stories and invite them to submit an abstract
for consideration.
Consider co-presenting with a customer to jointly share an application or project story, discussing the initial challenge through the implemented solutions and describing the results.
- To do this, please submit your abstract
  as a PartnerNetwork Company. You must gain customer approval in writing by the April 30, 2025 submission deadline, stating that their company name can be used and that they will co-present with you at the event. Please list the customer as one of the speakers.
