Configure the Associated Axes and Control Mode

After you associate the axis to the drive, configure the axis and control mode.
To configure the Associated Axes and Control mode:
  1. From the
    Axis Properties
     dialog box, in
    Categories
    , click
    General
    .
  2. In the
    General
    area, from the
    Axis Configuration
     list, select the axis configuration type.
    TIP:
    The available
    Axis Configuration
     values are determined by the drive's profile and the default selection. If there is no drive associated with the axis, all values are available, and the default position is
    Position Loop
    .
  3. From the
    Feedback Configuration
     list, select the feedback configuration type.
    TIP:
    The
    Feedback Configuration
     values vary by profile and axis type.
  4. From the
    Application Type
     list, select the application type.
  5. From the
    Loop Response
     list, select the desired loop response.
  6. Click
    Apply
    .
