Axis Properties for Ethernet motion system
Use the
Axis Properties
dialog box for an Axis CIP Drive data type to configure integrated motion systems on the EtherNet/IP network. Use the dialog box to:- Edit the properties of an axis.
- View the current state of the axis.
- View the current state of the CIP Safety drive when the drive is a CIP safety drive.
- Perform a manual tune function.
The
Axis Properties
dialog box includes these parameters.Table Heading | Table Heading |

Categories | A list of all option categories available for configuration. Select a category and its options appear to the right of the list. When an option changes, a "*" appends to the name of the category. Select Apply or OK to save the changes. |
Axis State | Displays the current state of the axis. These states include:

Safety State | Displays the current state of the CIP Safety drive. These states include:
|
Safe Torque Off bypassed | This warning displays when the drive is a CIP Safety drive and Safety State is Not Configured (Torque Permitted) or Not Running (Torque Permitted) .The Safe Torque Off safety function may be bypassed when performing a Motion Direct Command while the safety controller is in Program Mode. The CIP Safety drive allows Motion producing power when Safe Torque Off is bypassed. |
Manual Tune | Opens the Manual Tune dialog box to perform the manual tune function and run the drive. |
