PLLS status and commands
Use the
General
tab on the PLLS Properties
dialog box to monitor the instruction status and issue online commands to Process Lead Lag Standby Motor Group (PLLS) instructions.Monitor the instruction status and issue online commands for PLLS instructions
- On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
- On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
- In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and selectConfigure <tag name>.
- Select these commands when online with the controller.
- Bypassable permissives & interlocks: Check. Tells the instruction that all permissives and interlocks, bypassable or not, are to be checked during operation.
- Bypassable permissives & interlocks: Bypass. Tells the instruction that bypassable permissives and interlocks are bypassed, or ignored, during operation.
- Operator/Maintenance online commands:The action is immediate if the command request does not need to be confirmed by the operator. If the command request requires a signature, this will enforce security from the HMI and disable the command from the Logix Designer dialog.
- Start. Start the motor group.
- Stop. Stop the motor group.
- Sheds and alarms reset. Reset all sheds and alarms of the instruction. The button is enabled when the device and the instruction are ready for reset and a signature is not required. The action is immediate if the command request does not need to be confirmed by the operator. If the command request requires a signature, this will enforce security from the HMI and disable the command from the Logix Designer dialog. The button is always disabled when the device is offline.
- When online with the controller, monitor theDevice stateandDevice issuesindicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
- Device state. Displays the current device state:
- None
- Stopped
- Running
- Stopping
- Decreasing
- Increasing
- Device issues. Displays fault conditions:
- None
- Configuration error
- Fail to start
- Fail to stop
- Monitor the values and current states for permissives, interlocks, and sheds.
- SelectApply.
