PLLS parameter values

Use the
Parameters
tab of the
PLLS Properties
dialog box to monitor the status and settings of Process Lead Lag Standby Motor Group (PLLS) instructions.
To monitor and modify parameter values for PLLS instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Select the
    Parameters
    tab.
  3. Configure these settings:
    • Vis
      . Select the check boxes in this column to determine which parameters are visible on a function block instruction. This setting only affects instructions in the function block diagram editor.
      If the parameter is wired to another parameter, the check box is selected and cannot be cleared. The parameter must be visible on the block.
    • Value
      . Displays the current value of the parameter. Values in this column are displayed according to the display style of the data type of the block tag.
      If the parameter is wired to another parameter, the value column is read-only and the value cannot change. If modifying this value while online, changes occur when you select
      Apply
      .
  4. To reset the
    Vis
    and
    Value
    columns to the user-stored default values, select
    Insert instruction defaults
    . Use the button to insert instruction defaults saved in the registry to this instance of the tag. The button is only enabled when the instruction defaults are available in the registry.
  5. To reset the
    Vis
    and
    Value
    columns to factory default values, select
    Insert factory defaults
    .
  6. To save currently visible values in the parameters tab to the registry, select
    Save instruction defaults
    . The current values become the instruction default values.
  7. To sort the parameters alphabetically, select
    Sort Parameters
    . When this check box is not selected, the default parameter order is applied, with inputs followed by outputs.
  8. Monitor these parameters, which are read-only:
    • Input/Output Row Header
      . An I at the start of a row indicates an Input parameter. An O indicates an Output parameter. Information in this column is read-only.
    • Name
      . The name of the parameter. Information in this column is read-only.
    • Type
      . Displays the data type for the parameter. Information in this column is read-only.
    • Description
      . Displays the description of the parameter.
  9. When online with the controller, monitor the
    Device state
    and
    Device issues
    indicators at the bottom left of the dialog box:
    • Device state
      . Displays the current device state:
      • None
      • Stopped
      • Running
      • Stopping
      • Decreasing
      • Increasing
    • Device issues
      . Displays fault conditions:
      • None
      • Configuration error
      • Fail to start
      • Fail to stop
  10. Select
    Apply
    .
