PPERM status and settings

Use the
General
 tab of the
PPERM Properties
 dialog box to monitor the status and settings of Process Permissives (PPERM) instructions.
To monitor the status and settings of PPERM instructions
  1. On the instruction in the routine, perform one of these actions:
    • On the Ladder or FBD instruction, select .
    • In the Structured Text editor, right-click the tag name and select
      Configure <tag name>
      .
  2. Open the
    General
     tab.
  3. View the read-only parameters:
    • Device state.
       When the Logix Designer application is online with the controller, the indicator displays the current device state, such as Off, Pulse on, or Out of service.
    • Device issues.
       When the Logix Designer application is online with the controller, the indicator displays fault conditions, such as Feedback fault or I/O fault.
    • Permissive bypass status indicator.
       Displays the permissive bypass status, either Not bypassed or bypassed.
    • Permissive condition
      . Displays each configured permissive along with the current state of the permissive.
  4. Select
    OK
    .
