Copy configuration files or IOS image

Use the
SD Flash Sync
 view to copy configuration files and the switch operating system to and from an SD flash card when an SD card is present. The configuration files include config.text and vlan.dat files.
Prerequisites
  • The device is online.
To copy configuration files or IOS image to the SD card
  1. On the tab for the device, select
    SD Flash Sync
    .
  2. In the
    SD Flash Sync
     view, in the
    Copy from Switch to SD Flash
     section or
    Copy from SD Flash to Switch
     section, select one of these two buttons as needed:
    • Copy Configuration -
       Copy the configuration files.
    • Copy IOS Image -
       Copy the IOS image.
      TIP:
      If you have more than one IOS image synchronized to the onboard flash of the switch, you may encounter a failure to synchronize. The work-around is to manually clear enough flash space using CLI.
  3. When a message appears asking you to overwrite the files, select
    Yes
    .
