Verify the last fault location on a port

When there is a fault on a ring, you can see the last node the active ring supervisor can communicate with on a DLR port. This information displays in
Last Active Node
 in the
Ring X
view.
TIP:
Last Active Node
 shows information from the last fault until you verify the fault location.
To verify the last fault location on a port
  1. On the tab for the device, expand
    Device Level Ring
    , and then expand
    Ring X
    .
  2. In the
    Ring
     view, select
    Verify fault location
    .
    The switch updates the IP address or MAC ID in
    Last active node on Port 1
     and
    Last active node on Port 2
    .
