Port Thresholds view

Use the
Port Thresholds
 view to set the Incoming and Outgoing threshold limits for broadcast, unicast, and multicast traffic for each active port. These limits help determine acceptable levels of performance.
If an undesirable network event occurs and the threshold value is exceeded, a yes value displays in two places:
  • the appropriate column in the
    Port Status
     view
  • the
    Traffic Exceeded on Any Port
     parameter in the
    Switch Status
     view
    TIP:
    Configure the port threshold settings while online. Most data is only displayed when the device is online.
