Configure WebSocket Server settings page

How do I open the Configure Websocket Server page?
On the
Advanced
tab, select
Configure Websocket Server
.
Use the
Configure WebSocket Server
page to configure the WebSocket service. The Websocket server provides a limited, non-Windows integration with the
FactoryTalk Activation
SDK API. The WebSocket server is disabled by default.
TIP:
The web socket service runs in the Local Service account, so put your certificate file in a location that Local Service can access.
Configure these settings on the page:
Setting
Description
Run Websocket Service
Select this check box to enable the WebSocket server. The WebSocket server runs as a service on this machine and responds to requests from Websocket client applications.
Service status
Indicates the server is enabled or disabled.
Certificate to use for WebSocket Service
Enter the file location of the PKCS #12 certificate to provide secure communication between the client application and this WebSocket server. Select
Browse
to navigate to the file location.
Password for the selected Certificate file
Enter the password for the certificate file.
Port number used by the WebSocket service
Enter the port number used for communication between the client application and this WebSocket server.
Apply
Select Apply to save the settings and restart the WebSocket server.
