View the server log file

The server log file is generated each time an activation server is started or refreshed.
To view the server log file:
  1. Start the activation server if it is not already running.
  2. Navigate to the server log directory. The default directory is
    C:\Users\Public\Documents\
    Rockwell Automation
    \Activations\Logs\
    .
  3. Open the server log file
    RSsvr.log
    in a text editor.
    Tip:
    When viewing the log file, ignore references to RSI.MASTER.
