Install FT Activation Manager

  1. Go to
    <Install_Directory>\FTActivation\4.06.13-FTActivation
    folder.
  2. Double-click the
    setup.exe
     file located in the
    <Install_Directory>\FTActivation\4.06.13-FTActivation
     folder.

  3. The FT Activation Manager Setup window displays. Click [Install now] to begin the installation.

  4. The EULA page displays, click [Accept all] to accept the user license agreements.

    The installation progress window displays.

  5. The FactoryTalk Services installation success message displays. Select [Restart Now] or [Restart Later] option to close the installer.Click [Accept all] to accept the user license agreements.

  6. Open the Windows Services console and ensure that the following services are running:
    1. FactoryTalk Activation Helper
    2. FactoryTalk Activation Service
