DataView Installation
WARNING:
Using HTTP will expose the user/password and sensitive information as clear text on the network. It is strongly recommended to use HTTPS to encrypt the network traffic. This reduces risk because the sensitive information is no longer exposed.
IMPORTANT:
It is recommended that all lowercase letters are used for domain names. If multiple installers for FTA application installations have been used, port conflicts will need to be resolved.
This document will guide the user through the installer that allows to install all components to one machine or distribute components to multiple machines.
IMPORTANT:
Before starting the installation, ensure that all the required permissions are granted to the User.
- Standard Mode: Installs all components on the same machine. Refer to Standard Mode.
- Distributed Mode: Allows the user to select the required components to be installed on multiple machines. The Installer must be executed on each machine. Refer to “Distributed Mode”.
Standard or distributed installation is based on selections in the Components Selection section of the installer. When all components are selected, the installer will install all components to the same machine (Standard Mode). If specific components are selected, Distributed Mode is enabled.
