Configuring Data Providers

FactoryTalk InfoPlatform can connect to data sources via components called Data Providers. The product is installed with default data providers that connect to FTHistorians and OpcDa data sources as well as a built-in data simulator. Connectivity can be easily extended by installing custom data providers into the installation folder and editing the configuration file as described below.
