Connect OSI PI Server

Perform the following steps to connect OSI PI Server (Version 2017 R2):
  1. If the PI AF SDK is used to connect from InfoPlatform. Then the InfoPlatform can connect to both Historian SE and OSI PI servers.
  2. OSI PI Servers will show up under the folder called "Historians" when browsing rather than under the folder called "FTdirectory" (This is indicated in the InfoPlatform configuration manual).
  3. OSI PI customers may have to pay OSI for third party access if they don't have an enterprise agreement with OSI.
  4. FactoryTalk Historian ME connectivity is not supported through the InfoPlatform connector. FactoryTalk Historian ME data can be rolled up to a FactoryTalk Historian SE server and then accessed by InfoPlatform.
