Configure the InfoPlatform Service Account - Non-Administrator

The FTA InfoPlatform Service is a window’s service and, has a security context associated with the user account assigned to it. It is recommended to use a non-administrative account for this service account.

If the InfoPlatform Service requires network privileges to access remote resources such as remote Historians or an FTDirectory located on the network, the user account assigned to the service must have sufficient rights to access those resources.
