Group Capabilities
In FactoryTalk DataMosaix, every role has certain capabilities. So, instead of assigning individual capabilities to members, the members are assigned roles. When a role is assigned to a member, the associated capabilities are inherited by the member.
View Role Capabilities
You can view the grouped capabilities by clicking the
View Group Capabilities
link.
NOTE:
On the
Manage Access
tab, the link to view role capabilities is available on the following screens.- Member Listing
- Add Roles
- Edit Roles
- Remove Roles
The
Roles Description
dialog box displays on clicking the View Group Capabilities
link.
Click
Expand All
to view the list of all role capabilities
