Enable or Disable Features

Follow the instructions to activate or deactivate a feature in FactoryTalk DataMosaix using the Features tab.
NOTE:
By default, the
FT Optix
 feature flag is enabled for newly created projects and does not affect existing projects. If a user has already turned it on or off, the setting will remain unchanged. 
Activate Features
  1. On the Management Console, navigate to
    Manage Access
     >
    Features
    .
    The Features page displays the available features with a short description and the date they were last updated in the feature management platform.
  2. Toggle the button to turn the selected feature
    Active
    .
    Activate Feature
    You will be notified that the selected feature has been successfully activated.
Deactivate Features
  1. On the Management Console, navigate to
    Manage Access
     >
    Features
    .
    The Features page displays the available features with a short description and the date they were last updated in the feature management platform.
  2. Turn the toggle button to
    Inactive
    .
    The Confirm Deactivation dialog box is displayed.
    NOTE:
    When you deactivate a feature, it becomes unavailable to all users of the selected project.
  3. Click
    Deactivate
    .
    Deactivate Feature
    You will be notified that the selected feature has been successfully deactivated.
