Delete a connection to a program parameter

Delete a connection to a program parameter to no longer pass the data from the parameter into and out of the program for a controller, device, or other program.
  1. On the explorer bar, select System icon
    System
     and then select the program.
  2. In the
    System
    title bar, Select Tags icon
    View tags and parameters
    . The Tag Editor opens.
    TIP: To open the Tag Editor, you can also right-click the program and select
    Tags and parameters
    .
  3. On the Tag Editor, select the parameter.
  4. In
    Properties
    , select
    Connections
    .
    TIP: If
    Properties
    does not open, in the pane bar, select FTDStudioProperties
    Properties
    .
  5. Next to the connection to delete, select Delete icon
    Delete
    .
  6. (optional) To undo the deletion, in the toast, select
    Undo
    .
