Import an OPC UA NodeSet

Import an OPC UA NodeSet in either online or offline mode.

Prerequisites

Add an OPC UA client object.

If you import the NodeSet in the offline mode, obtain the NodeSet

XML

file.

To import an OPC UA NodeSet

Project view

, right-click the OPC UA client object and select

New

OPC UA tag importer

OPCUATagImporter

appears under the OPC UA client object.

Next to

OPCUATagImporter

, select

Configure the NodeSet import:

If you import the NodeSet in the online mode, set the toggle to

Online

If you import tags in the offline mode:

Set the toggle to

Offline

File path

, provide a path to the

XML

file with the NodeSet.

Select the items to import and then select

Apply

The imported objects appear under the OPC UA client.
