Language displayed at runtime

The language that appears at runtime depends on several circumstances.

User locale. The language displayed at runtime is the language of the locale of the user. If a term is translated into a language other than the language for the locale of the user, the system searches languages in order of preference. See Configure session and fallback locales.

Presentation Engine. The Presentation Engine manages the user interface based on the connected user. Configure the user in the Presentation Engine before design time or at Runtime. See Presentation Engines.

Session. The default language of a new session is the locale language of the user. You can change the locale language of a session independent of the locale language of the user. See Set options.
