Install and Configure Visual Studio

  1. In the Visual Studio Installer, select
    Modify
    .
  2. Select the
    .NET desktop development
     check box to enable IntelliSense.
To communicate with a File Transfer Protocol (FTP) or other devices, such as a barcode reader, you might have to install other packages. A package manager comes pre-installed by selecting the
.NET desktop development
 tile during installation.
