Rename a project
Change the name of an open project. Renaming a project file does not change the project name.
To rename a project
- In theProject Explorer, right-click the project and selectRename.
- Type a new name for the project file and selectEnter.
- The name must contain only numbers, letters, and underscores.
- The name must not begin with a number, contain spaces, have more than one underscore in a row, or end with an underscore.
