Change the height of the System Banner

By default, the
System Banner
 appears at the top of each screen and shortcut in a project and contains a default set of items. Change the height of the
System Banner
 to accommodate fewer or more elements.
Before changing the height of the
System Banner
, consider the size of the HMI device screen. The default screen size is outlined below the open
System Banner
 to help visualize how much room there is to resize the
System Banner
. Making the
System Banner
 taller reduces the available space on the screen. Making the
System Banner
 shorter adds to the available space on the screen.
You can change only the height of the
System Banner
. You cannot change the width. Changing the height of the
System Banner
affects every screen in the project shows the
System Banner
.
To change the height of the System Banner
  1. In the
    Project Explorer
    , expand the
    Predefined Screens
     folder.
  2. Select or double-click the
    Banner
    item to open the
    System Banner
    .
  3. In the
    Properties
    window, select the
    Properties
    tab.
  4. Expand the
    Position and Size
    category.
  5. In the
    Height
    box, enter:
    • A numeric value between 1 and the value representing 95% of the height of the screen.
