Configure Equipment Phase properties

In the

Controller Organizer

or

Logical Organizer,

right-click the

Equipment Phase

name and select

Properties

to open the

Equipment Phase

Properties

dialog.

Select the

Configuration

tab.

From the

Prestate

list, choose the prestate routine to use for this

Equipment Phase

.

From the

Fault

list, choose the fault routine to use for this

Equipment Phase

.

(optional) To prevent the controller from executing this

Equipment Phase

, select

Inhibit equipment phase

.

(optional) To synchronize data at the end of the phase execution, select

Synchronize redundancy data after execution

.

From the

Initial state

list, choose the state to which the system should initialize the equipment phase.

To signal the completion of a state any time the

Equipment Phase

transitions to a state where the state routine is not implemented, select

Complete state immediately if not implemented or empty

.

In the

Initial step index

box, enter an initial value for the step index.

From the

External sequencer loss of communication command

list, choose the action to take if communication with an external sequencer fails.

From the

External request hold action

menu, choose the action to take when an external request initiated using the PXRQ instruction is in progress and the equipment phase receives a HOLD command (while in the RUNNING state).

(optional) If the equipment phase is used in an equipment sequence, select

Automatically assign the value of sequence step inputs to phase inputs

.

(optional) If the equipment phase is used in an equipment sequence, select an option from

Automatically assign the value of phase outputs to sequence step outputs when the phase is

Apply

to save changes and continue editing, or select

OK

to save changes and close the

Equipment Phase Properties

dialog. Select

Cancel

to discard edits and close the dialog.
