properties using the Configuration
tab in the Equipment Phase
PropertiesBefore you begin
- Go offline with the controller.
To configure an equipment phase:
- In theController OrganizerorLogical Organizer,right-click theEquipment Phasename and selectPropertiesto open thedialog.Equipment PhaseProperties
- Select theConfigurationtab.
- From thePrestatelist, choose the prestate routine to use for thisEquipment Phase.
- From theFaultlist, choose the fault routine to use for thisEquipment Phase.
- (optional) To prevent the controller from executing thisEquipment Phase, selectInhibit equipment phase.
- (optional) To synchronize data at the end of the phase execution, selectSynchronize redundancy data after execution.
- From theInitial statelist, choose the state to which the system should initialize the equipment phase.
- To signal the completion of a state any time theEquipment Phasetransitions to a state where the state routine is not implemented, selectComplete state immediately if not implemented or empty.
- In theInitial step indexbox, enter an initial value for the step index.
- From theExternal sequencer loss of communication commandlist, choose the action to take if communication with an external sequencer fails.
- From theExternal request hold actionmenu, choose the action to take when an external request initiated using the PXRQ instruction is in progress and the equipment phase receives a HOLD command (while in the RUNNING state).
- (optional) If the equipment phase is used in an equipment sequence, selectAutomatically assign the value of sequence step inputs to phase inputs.
- (optional) If the equipment phase is used in an equipment sequence, select an option fromAutomatically assign the value of phase outputs to sequence step outputs when the phase is:
- COMPLETE
- STOPPED
- ABORTED
- SelectApplyto save changes and continue editing, or selectOKto save changes and close theEquipment Phase Propertiesdialog. SelectCancelto discard edits and close the dialog.
