Export an MCC lineup

Export an MCC lineup to use the lineup in the local install of IntelliCENTER.
To export an MCC lineup
  1. From the main menu, open or create a project that contains an MCC lineup.
  2. Select
    File > Export MCC lineup
     to open the
    Export MCC Lineup
     dialog box.
  3. Select
    Export
     to add the MCC lineup to a zip file. When the lineup has zipped successfully, the
    Export MCC Lineup
     dialog box opens.
  4. Select
    Download
     to download the zipped dataset to the computer's
    Downloads
     folder.
  5. Download the
    update_dataset
     file.
  6. Copy the file to the original dataset folder.
  7. Run
    Update_dataset.exe
     as an admin.
  8. If this is the first time you are installing the dataset on your computer, leave the
    Destination folder of Database files
     as the default. If the lineup is already installed on your computer, select a new location for the database and documentation.
  9. Restart your computer and open the IntelliCENTER software version six to access the dataset containing the changes you made in FactoryTalk Design Studio.
    Other ways to export an MCC lineup:
    • From the IntelliCENTER dashboard by selecting the box select mcc lineup associated with the lineup to export and then selecting the
      Export lineup

    • In the IntelliCENTER explorer, either right-click the name of the MCC lineup or a blank space within the explorer and then select
      Export MCC lineup
      .
    • In the
      Elevation
       view, right-click a blank area within the view and then select
      Export MCC lineup
